Purpose

The main purpose of the health awareness project is to raise awareness about different diseases and disorders by hosting frequently webinars via Facebook, which is on of the biggest social media platforms of JCI Paramaribo. For every webinar, a maximum of 3 health professionals will be invited who will share their knowledge and experience about a specific health topic.

Here is a brief overview of the health webinars that will be hosted between March and August 2021:
1.Autism Awareness Webinar in the context of World Autism Awareness Day (April 02, 2021)
2.Sickle Cell Awareness Webinar in the context of World Sickle Cell Day (June 19, 2021)
3.Breast feeding Awareness Webinar (August 07, 2021) in the context of Breast Feeding Week (Augustus 01-08, 2021)
4. Diabetes Awareness Webinar (Aug 21, 2021)


Actions Taken

step 1: presentation and adoption of the project and identifying speakers, step 2: organizing teach-ins with the speakers, step 3: launching of the webinars, step 4: execution of the webinars, step 5: evaluation and presentation final report to the chapter.
