57th World Congress Opening?Music, Color, and National Pride!

On Sunday, November 24, the 57th JCI World Congress opened with a lively and impressive ceremony at the Premier Ballroom of the MGM Grand. Members of the JCI Board of Directors and National Presidents from all corners of the world, as well as several JCI Past Presidents were introduced on stage. Delegates added color to the festivities wearing national costumes and ribbons, and waving flags, particularly when their National Presidents paraded on stage.
A festive and enthusiastic public thoroughly enjoyed various entertainment acts. JCI President Salvi Batlle enchanted the audience with a video sharing his experiences during his year in office. Tina Turner, Neil Diamond and Blues Brothers impersonators had delegates up on their feet, singing and dancing. Delighting and surprising the audience, fireworks from the stage signaled the opening of the 57th JCI World Congress in Las Vegas.
