New IT Platform
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) is seeking an experienced information technology (IT) design team to help develop a new, re-imagined IT platform, and has extended the proposal deadline for that project through 15 May 2020.
JCI, an international leadership organization, is redeveloping its IT strategy in order to enhance its membership services, dynamize membership recruitment, boost relations with partners and improve internal corporate governance, with the ultimate goal of providing superior services and functionality to JCI members across the globe.
To that end, JCI has put forward a request for proposals (RFP), and will be accepting proposals through 15 May 2020.
For this new IT platform project, JCI wants to partner with a developer to build new infrastructure and an e-platform that offers an improved user experience for its members and partners. The IT platform will be state-of-the-art and visually compelling, interactive, easy to navigate and capable of highlighting collaboration between users. It must be a sustainable product, complete with tools to be customized and updated in-house after the initial development phase.
“We must always be looking towards the future, no matter what obstacles are before us in the present,” JCI Secretary General Kevin Hin said. “Now, more than ever, JCI has to stay up-to-date to meet the technological needs of our members. Challenges provide opportunities, and we’re taking this time to improve ourselves for the days to come.”
The chosen company must be a registered company that has extensive experience in a wide range of website and IT functions, as well as nonprofit-specific IT projects. Specific areas of expertise required are outlined in the RFP, available below.
The deadline for proposals is 15 May 2020 at 5 p.m. CDT. Submission requirements and instructions can be found in the RFP.
