JCI REMO 3RD BABY OF IMPACT ATTRACTS THE CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR AS MATRON OF THE LOCAL ORGANIZATION

The Impact Through Diversity team of the chapter set out on 2nd January, 2020 for our Baby Impact Project.

Albeit the initial delay in receiving signal of the first baby of the year , members set out for *Akaka Health Centre* in Remo North Local Government Area and *Agura Health Centre* in Sagamu Local Government Area both in Remo Federal Constituency of Ogun State.

At about 1:15pm, the Impact through diversity crew of the chapter proceeded to Agura health Centre in Sagamu Local for our SECOND baby of impact for the day where we met the family of Mr. Friday Nona and Mrs. Mercy Nona who delivered a baby girl at about 8:30pm on Wednesday 1st January, 2020.

On arrival at the health facility, the staff of the centre headed by the Apex nurse of the local government, Mrs. Soneye Y.F warmly welcome us as she said they have been anxiously waiting for our august arrival.

The Local Organization, led by the President, JCIN Amb. Odunbaku Babatunde after a brief introduction of the organization and crew members present, he presente the baby gift items brought to the family with a cheque of #5,000 (Five Thousand naira) to the family as our support to the family.

Reacting, Mrs. Mercy David, the mother of the newborn disclosed that the baby items came to time as her husband is yet to buy most items on the list for the baby. She was full of joy as she expresses her gratitude to JCI Remo.

Another high point at the centre was a young lady, who is a member of staff who instantly showed interest in joining the organization as she feels so amazed with what the local organization did.

In the same vein, the local government apex nurse, Mrs. Soneye expresses her surprise on the large quantity and varieties of baby items presented with a cheque of #5,000 issued. While thanking JCI Remo for the display of selfless service to humanity, she prayer for all members that were present.

Of Training), JC Yinusa Ayomide (Dir. Growth & Retention), JC (Barr.) Ogundana Olatunde (Dir. Of Finance), JC Ayomide Onakoya, JC Oluleye Caleb and JC Ododife Glory.

The Impact Through Diversity team departed the centre at about 2:28pm as the year 2020 baby of Impact came to a remarkable end.

Results

Two Families,Medical Personals and Support staffs of Sagamu Local Government and Remo North Local Government were impacted totalling 100.


Recommendations

The Project Team Recommend that the Project be added to the 5years Strategic Plan of the Local Organisation and More Partners should be source for the purpose of Impact Expansion.
