Purpose

JCI Vasco aims to become a role model organization, inspiring and empowering the Government, other private & non-government entities, and the general society, contributing to the worldwide stand against COVID-19. We have acted on the pandemic as fast and efficient as possible to form a plan that has empowered our members to become a major force and be at the forefront of the Fight against COVID-19.

Overview

Under SDG#2 and SDG#3; The young Junior Jaycee Wing of JCI Vasco are no behind to serve the society and one such project that they had undertaken during the whole lock down period is called "Break the Chain". Under this project the Junior Jaycee provided Masks and other protection kits to the police officer, traffic police and to the people in and around Mormugao Taluka.
They also served snacks and tea twice a day, everyday to the police officers,Traffic Police Department and also to the needy people who couldnt afford meals. This was a very noble deed indeed that the JR JC Wing of JCI Vasco has undertaken and we are very very proud of them.
We will encourage and support them in every possible way to serve the people around and uplift for the betterment of our community.

Recommendations

As we are currently in the midst of our activities and facing uncertain situations on how the outbreak may affect our future, we can only tell that our members will be ready to come together as one whenever the time comes. One of the key areas where we could improve is getting more organizations involved. Setting a more sophisticated system in place which calls for faster actions could affect the project in a more impactful way and result in even better outcomes
