Despite the hardships and health risks, millions of essential frontline workers continue to do their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In their own words, they share the risks and challenges they face, the concerns they have, and how they are coping.
In Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we take the Implementing SDG 3 (good health and wellbeing). Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being at all ages is essential to sustainable development.
With the rapid surge of Covid-19 positive cases throughout the Country, JCI Bayan saw the urgent need to carry out a meaningful project that can benefit the frontline heroes in our fight against COVID-19.
While the Doctors and nurses work hard to keep all of us safe, we are doing our small part to ensure that they are also well equipped to keep themselves safe too.
We hope our contribution for the protection of our frontline heroes against the COVID-19 virus carries a clear message of LOVE & CARE from all of us in Penang.
Ensuring that communities and civil society receive the support that they need to be meaningfully engaged enables them to bring their lived experience, perspectives and expertise to knowledge generation, policy-making and health responses that are rights-based, accountable and ensure that no one is left behind.
