- To create positive changes in response to different social issues to create a Better World - To unite the force of all members and Local Organizations of JCIHK as well as other partners to achieve collaborative and constructive effects in creating a Better World - To impact the communities by implementing different programs aligning with JCI Active Citizen Framework - To promote the image of JCI and JCIHK as a leading global network of young active citizens


“WE UNITE for a BETTER WORLD” is one of the flagship projects of JCIHK to arouse public concern on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UNMDG). With Ms. Florence Hui,Under Secretary of Home Affairs of Hong Kong SAR, Mr. Bertolt Daems, JCI President and the representatives of United Nations, the Opening Ceremony cum Art Exhibition “Living in Harmony with Nature” will be launched during ASPAC from 7 -10 June 2012. Apart from the showcase of the works from a famous Chinese Ink Painting Artist, Mr. Wang Guan Qing (汪觀清) to paintings present harmony, the key element to promote better world via its nature landscape, animals, and people. In JC involvement, the exhibition will display the UNMDG projects hosted by 14 local organizations of JCI Hong Kong and JCI in Asia Pacific area such as Korea, Malaysia, Cambodia and Taiwan. To encourage community involvement, the exhibition also presents the children drawings which won the awards of International Children Drawings Competition, organized by JCI Harbour, Hong Kong. Through drawing arts, it promote LOVE, CARE and PEACE to the children as to deliver the message of "that service to humanity is the best work of life”
