Students with special educational needs

People impacted

The main objective of the scholarship is to to give recognition to the students with special educational needs who have gone through great hardship to overcome difficulties related to their special need, and to promote inclusion. Prior to the Scholarship Presentation ceremony, we had organized a visit to Ebenezer School (a school for visually impaired students). The visit provided an opportunity for students in mainstream schools to experience the learning mode of disabled students and to promote integration.

Students from mainstream schools and disabled students formed groups to perform and to compete. This platform fostered the integration between "normal" students and students with disability. News reports were released to capture the event and carried interviews with normal students.
