Purpose

"The purpose of Seed For Change 2021 is towards 2 main goals:
1/ Help people raise awareness about public health, know how to protect their health during the outbreak of disease
2/ Incubation for new projects stops at the idea stage to become a development, sustainable and positive project for public health."

Overview

"Problem: the Covid 19 epidemic broke out and spread at an extremely fast rate affecting: human health, economy and human life, however:
There are still many people who are not aware of the danger of the Covid epidemic and still have a subjective attitude, They are not worried about the disease.
Spontaneous and community activities do not have many plans and clear directions, so they are often not sustainable and do not achieve high efficiency.They are in need for a place to help those community projects know how to build and operate. your project into a more sustainable project.

SOLUTION:
Mission: seeding, helping ideas for community projects and newly established community projects become more sustainable, bringing positive impacts to society.
Vision: In the next 3 years, SFC will be the place where people who just started doing community projects, lost their orientation and don't know where to start with their ideas,they will find to SFC for direction and support. With community projects incubated, coming out of participating in the project will create many impacts for the community in many fields.
PROJECT MODEL:
-Direct beneficiaries: you do community projects
-Indirect beneficiaries: society, objects of those projects
- Objects of implementation: Contest organizers, project members, local authorities and businesses cooperating with the program
PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
1/ Talkshow activities: Organize talkshow series related to the topic of community projects
2/ Contest "" Seed For Change"": Seed For Change is a contest to find sustainable community project ideas organized by JCI Da Nang. The contest takes the form of a competition, a series of training programs, and a roundtable with experts to incubate ideas into sustainable projects that have positive impacts on society.
The contest is organized according to SDG 3: “Good health and well-being.”
The project is organized as a microcosm of JCI. The project has an Organizing Committee, there are departments in charge of communication related tasks, training content... to organize the contest. "

Results

-Successfully organized 2 talk shows with a total number of participants
-Organized 4 training sessions and 2 roundtables to discuss the project
400,000 interactions on the online platform
-1 government unit, which is the largest unit for Vietnamese students to participate in the project, 1 medical university under Duy Tan University - Top 500 in the world and has over 20,000 students enrolled , 3 businesses are sponsors accompanying the project
-Proposing 10 ideas for community projects related to health, currently, 3/10 projects are gradually coming into operation and achieving the results set out in the plan table by the team."
