Purpose

Finding a sustainable solution for the development of a tribal community and to empower them through JCI opportunities.

Overview

JCI Adimali selected 20 ladies tribes below 40 and gave orientation and enrolled them as Jaycee member. Our National President of JCI India, did their installation on 17/06/2022. Thus a Tribal Lady Local Organisation was formed. Named as JCI Padicup Bamboo Queens. First of its kind in JCI India.

JCI Adimali tried to find the sustainable solution for problem faced by tribals. They live their livelihood by weaving baskets made of bamboo, but covid 19 restrictions put them in trouble for finding markets to sell their products.
JCI Adimali find a solution for this problem by setting up a Tribal business sales outlet in National Highway 85, thereby ensure a steady selling market to tourists/visitors.
People started identifying their products and started giving orders.
Other Local Organisations also started offering helping hands to these tribes through various training & offerings. Now the project has gone through all major UNSDG goals.
A new community development will rise up and will do a great impact within 2030.
Thank you.
