Overview

I. PROBLEMS:
- According to the 2017 statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam has about 200,000 university and college graduates who cannot find jobs. While ones from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, show that about 60% of graduates work in the wrong industry, not in accordance with their trained university profession.
- The consequences are not only for the learners themselves (when money is needed for studying, living expenses, time, and effort) but working in a different field also wastes resources at schools; and businesses are often forced to use much time for re-training when recruiting these personnel.
- In short, Vietnamese students are showing a trend of doing different majors after college, which causes a huge waste of resources and lower the workforce quality.
- Understanding this severe problem, “Shape Your Future” is introduced to help students, from their high school time – to “Choose the right school, study the right major”

Recommendations

1. Get more support from sponsors, especially financial matters
2. Expand media promotion. Magazines, newspapers and Televisions is a segment that the project has not had the opportunity to develop, and this is considered a new challenge to increase professionalism and communication ability for activities.
