Purpose

Sanjeevani is a signature project from JCI THEKKADY SAHYADRI.It provides basic life support training to the
local people in chakkupallam grama panchayat.

Overview

Sanjeevani is a signature project from JCI THEKKADY SAHYADRI.It provides basic life support training to the
local people in chakkupallam grama panchayat.Our area is a rural area where good health care facilities are
less and a lot of casualities happening due to lack of awareness in first aid.So We associated with CARITAS
HOSPITAL, a major health care group in kottayam and plan to train first batch of 50 people from different
working sectors like drivers,headload workers,students,asha workers etc.and provide them certificate.

Results

Trained more than 1000 peoples in chakkupallam panchayath.

Recommendations

We wish that once we finish the project Chakkupallam grama panchayath will be the first panchayath in
kerala to have complete health literacy .Our ultimate aim is that JCI INDIA should take and implement this
project in all rural areas to provide health care awareness to local people to enhance their lifestyle.
