- To organize the event that opens the holdiay season in town: JCI Whitby Santa Claus Parade. - To get public exposure for our local organization.
The JCI Whitby Santa Claus Parade is one of the largest small town Santa Claus Parades, with over 80 entries. It includes floats, bands, dancing groups, twirling groups, clowns, schools and of course our main guest: Santa. Our chapter organizes everything from the route, getting permits, promotes and market the parade to get entries and get people going downtown to watch this event.
