Purpose

To university seniors and graduates struggling to find a great job, KICK-OFF TO FUTURE (KOTF) gives them the opportunities to master their soft skills and leadership in a JCI-spirit environment, in order to help improve their skill-set and mind-set to grow for themselves and for the society.

We build up a bootcamp for 100 students each year, through which they can learn and practice 9 most needed skills for their real working life. During the program, they will do a community project by teamwork to represent their ability and responsibility.

Overview

University graduates expect a lot these days. They want professional training and development, opportunities for international exposure, creative and dynamic work environment, etc. On the other hand, employers want good academic records, excellent interpersonal skills, great language skills. It is not easy for them to find each other.

During the program, they will do a community project by teamwork to represent their ability and responsibility. 5 best candidates will be awarded an INTERNSHIP by a big company in the city. This would be a perfect opportunity for them to learn and practice in a progressive and professional environment. These 5 students will also be next year KOTF Ambassadors.

This project addresses SDG #8 and #4 since we are open this for poor pupils and students in other provinces (with different contents based on the participants)
