To paint four (4) classrooms at the Mary Mount High School To do general clean up of the surroundings For JCI members to be seen as active citizens

In an effort to rebuild JCI St. Mary, JCI Jamaica embarked on this joint venture project with the prospective members of JCI ST. Mary that was implemented on May 23, 2011 under the theme "It takes a Village to raise a child - labour of Love". The day's activities began with the mixing of the 25 gallons of paints sponsored by Edgechem Paints and persons placed in groups. The enthusiastic group of approximately 30 persons worked together as a team to accomplish the task of painting the classrooms and cleaning a part of the school grounds despite the rain. Some of the groups that collaborated with JCI Jamaica were MSME Alliance, University of Miami students, LIONs club of St. Mary, University of Technology Billionaire Club, May Mount High school teachers and students, community members, etc. JCI Kingston who is the sponsoring LOM for JCI St. Mary made a big impact through the participation of approximately 10 members.

Try and get the community more involved in activities of this nature through more promotion and publicity

Four classrooms were painted 25 gallons of paints secured Stronger bonds formed through our collaborative efforts with our various partnering groups JCI St. Mary is now well on its way to being rebuilt with one project already implemented
