Overview

The government has set a one-year mourning period for the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
During the mourning period for the king, Thai people are wearing black, white or dark-coloured clothes.
Thai people are waiting in line to pay their respects to the body of the late King Bhumibol.
The government asked the public to refrain from any entertainment activities for 30 days.
All government buildings will fly the Thai flag at half-mast for 30 days.
World leaders sent their condolences over the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
