To eradicate poverty and hunger and reduce unemployment

The project has been in operation for quite some time but over the years faced many challenges which propelled the school to produce at an extremely small scale. JCI Tshwane saw potential in the project and submitted a proposal for funding to a number of potential sponsors. The project’s aim is to supplement the school feeding scheme with medium term goal of selling surplus to the community and the long term goal of having a nursery ran by the school learners. The following activities were identified to revitilize the project.

R12 000 Funding
The following has been purchased and used in the project
• Fertilizer Compost
• Vegetable seeds
• Watering Cans
• Gardening utensils
• “greenhouse” structure net
• Wires for the structure
• Irrigation system (Pipes)

There is a need for more funding to expand the project and introduce a fertiliser project within this project.
There is a need to attract more partners wit special expertise in order to assist at different stages of the project
There is a need to have more members committed to the project
There is a need to market the projects' produce outside the community of Atteridgeville.
