To raise funds for the socio-economic projects for the out-of-school youth in the Philippines
The project enjoined all NGOs, private and public agencies engaged in youth development to maximize their efforts to help create a society that aims to attain the full economic and social well-being of the country’s underprivileged youth. It has become an annual tradition that highlights the plight of one of society’s neglected sector and the effective partnership between the public and private sectors in promoting the welfare of the youth.
Since the project is national in scope and its is meant not only a good source for fund raising from corporate sponsors, individual partners as well as government agencies. It can be use as an avenue or tool in marketing purposes for the JCI organization. It is recommended to other NOMs to adopt the said project.
We were able to raise funds of around US$D 10,000.00 use to finance the socio-economic projects to support the under privileged out of school youth in cooperation with the Alay Lakad Foundation, Incorporated
