Target

The aim of the project is to help finnish people specially in the city of Tampere to see the positivity as a key success factor when people surviving in the the challenges of the society, wold's economic situation and other uncertainty. The idea to choose yearly the most positive local person in the city of Tampere is that positive local persons deserve thanks and attention. That's because they are role examples to local people.

Purpose

The aim is to pay attention to local positive persons who have a huge impact to local people and reward them.


Overview

There was 5 members participating this project during spring 2018. The project was closely operated with company named Positiivarit Oy. Positiivarit held the most Positive Finnish person competition after local competition.
In the most positive person of the Tampere city there was three competition categories: 1. The most positive person 2. The most positive phenomenom 3. The most positive Young person. The competition consisted public open vote and 1500 persons voted. In project there was 7 co-operation partners: local newspaper Moro, flowshop Kukkakerttuli, amusement park Särkänniemi, restaurant Näsinneula, brewery Pirkanmaan Käsityöläispanimo, local event Kukkaisviikot and private company Positiivarit. The winner of whole local competition was musician Heikki Salo who was later taking part of the most positive finnish person competition.


Results

We get nearly 30 candidates to competition.
We manage to get visibility to local volunteer organisations and phenomenom.
We manage to get positive feedback to candidates.


Recommendations

Public vote is a good idea and also three different competition categories.
