Purpose

The event was made to promote the Peace is Possible Campaign on the occasion of the International Day of Peace


Overview

JCI Zimbabwe partnered with and organisation called the "Great African Caravan
" - a network of artists that are travelling the continent of Africa by road promoting global goals through art. On 21 September JCI members gathered school children and youth in Harare, delivered a peace message and explained the Peace is Possible Campaign. Thereafter, the day was celebrated through music and art.

Results

The message by the National President reached over 3,100 people on social media. 130 other people were reached by the message of peace and Peace Day activities. The PEace is Possible message was communicate to the artist community.

1. Use social media extensively to spread the peace message
2. Arts and music are also great enablers is the Peace Day message
