Purpose

Raising Anti-littering Awareness at Watsomba Business Centre by conducting a Physical Clean Up and involving various stakeholders such as Government agencies, Regulatory Authorities, Residents and Businesses.


Overview

This Project was in alignment as well with the Declaration by the President of Zimbabwe, encouraging various Organizations to conduct a massive clean up campaign, the first Friday of Every Month.


Results

Watsomba business centre was cleaned successfully and the following partners, participated: St Matthius Tsonzo, Mutasa Rural District Council, Zimbabwe Republic Police Penhalonga, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Environmental agency, Ministry of Health and Residents.


Recommendations

There is need for sustainable solutions such as unlocking the commercial value of waste recycling.
