People have pet for various reasons. But in this journey, which is generally unconscious of their material, spiritual, physical responsibilities and legal rights, instead of overcoming the difficulties they face, they prefer to leave the animals to the streets, forests or rural areas. The goal of the project; To contribute to the elimination of this social problem.
People get PET (Pets) for their own loneliness, for insistence on the care of their children by other children, as a rationing gift or as a gift for Valentine's Day.
Unfortunately, people who acquire pet in our country unfortunately do not have sufficient consciousness about their material, spiritual, physical and legal responsibilities and legal rights.
As a result of this insufficient awareness; the responsibilities of the pet acquirer and the spiritual and physical needs of the pet are experienced together. Pet's responsibilities, lack of time of pet acquisition, material inadequacy, lack of balance between social life and pet's spiritual needs, not knowing their rights against neighboring / social pressures etc. For reasons of negligence and a pet decision, Peti waits for the turning point of his life. Since the animal does not have the ability to express himself / herself (speaking skill), the decision is left to the pet buyer.
In this decision, many factors such as conscientious values, education status, financial income, family structure and education, lifestyle, working life, accepting responsibilities or avoiding responsibility take place
As a result of the acquisition of a pet by not knowing their responsibilities or ignoring their responsibilities, people prefer to leave the animals to the streets, forests or rural areas instead of overcoming the problems that occur.
Nowadays, Animal Shelters, Kurtköy-Aydos-Beykoz Forests, Ömerli Dam-Polonezköy regions unfortunately have been transformed into the areas where the abandoned animals struggle for survival.
In this context; In order to raise awareness in the society, we developed the project ' DON'T IT'S OWNER, BE IT'S HUMAN, which is sustainable and directly accessible to the target group
