Visión general

Since the immemorial of Bangladesh the craft of the hardworking passionate artisans has been setting landmarks. Hand stitch products has been the symbol of identity of the artisans, the stitches on the products are not just mere designs, those are the story of the village, the daily life of a common man, the dream of a women and the crafting of the cherished hope that lives within them. The hand stitch products uphold the picture of the rural Bangladesh through craft and art. It is the illustration of the age old tradition that has constituted the very core of this exotic nation.
There are lots of urban underprivileged young adolescence who haven't got schooling and proper training for skill developing. This project has trained 150 underprivileged urban girls on Handstitch , so that they can earn by making products.


Resultados

Selected women are capable to produce tradition hand stitch products which create opportunity to earn and to be self dependent.


Recomendaciones

Products made by these women can get access to the JCI international platform. In JCI conferences/ events, there could be a booth where beneficiaries by JCI projects can display their products.
