Propósito

Include handicapped citizens in cooperation with the World Health Organization to preventive examination, diagnostics, and treatment and increase their life capacity by including them in the Hepatitis B Vaccination.


Visión general

The rate of liver cancer in Mongolia is due largely to the late diagnosis of hepatitis. All types of viral hepatitis infections serve as a source of great health and financial loss for the entire population. Earlier diagnosis of hepatitis will prevent liver cancer. Earlier diagnosis of both hepatitis and liver cancer in Mongolia will save lives.


Resultados

Included 869 persons in the vaccination against the hepatic B virus and prevent diseases caused by the B virus.
Provided training about B and C virus types for 450 officers of the Mongolian Defense University.
Included 100 persons free of charge to the B and C virus test.
283 persons with C virus were treated and recovered.
Included 3 citizens with low financial sustainability to the treatment of C virus free of charge.
Provided C virus treatment medicaments to 72 and B virus treatment medicaments to 50 persons free of charge.

Recomendaciones

Immunity to B virus is 15 years, therefore there is a need to include 15, 30, 45, and 60 years old persons to the B virus immunity check and include in national vaccination planning.
Provide an additional project of detailed research and submit to the Ministry of Health
Widen the projects frame to handicapped provincial citizens and create a database with analysis on health state of handicapped citizen of Mongolia.
Development of an additional project and submit to the Ministry of Health in aim solve the issue of handicapped citizens inclusion to the treatment of C virus covered by state.
Insert to the Health and Hygiene course of the Secondary and High schools a knowledge base about C and B virus caused hepatic diseases and other infectious diseases prevention.
