Propósito
To plant 700 pine tree seedlings and give back to the environment who has given a lot to our well being and gather volunteers who share the same vision of protecting the environment.
Visión general
Our mountains have given a lot to our well-being, thus this tree planting endeavor wishes to give back to the environment through a tree planting activity where our fellow volunteers have planted seven hundred (700) pine tree seedlings which aims to promote a successful regeneration of a deforested area in Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet.
Resultados
The environmental programs of JCI Baguio Sunflower has successfully sharpened the leadership skills of the directors, project chair and its committee. This program as a whole has enabled JCI Baguio Sunflower members to set a vision for the preservation of the environment of Baguio City. By having an active role in the preservation of the environment, the members were deemed responsible to address the alarming state of Baguio City and its nearby areas.
Recomendaciones
This tree planting program proves to be program that served as a wake up call of the membership. Through this program, the membership is now aware of the gravity of the environmental problems in the country which highly contributes to global warming. Therefore, the membership recommends that we all contribute to the betterment of the environment by implementing sustainable solutions such as tree planting and educating the youth on the importance of protecting the environment and encourage them to plant more trees.
