Target

- The project aims to produce sustainable solutions to support women entrepreneurs. - Project COC team will reach out to cooperate with ICF Turkey compared to previous years. 20 women entrepreneurs determined according to the entrepreneurship criteria will receive mentorship from ICF Turkey upon developing their business. 20 women entrepreneurs will be supported and followed to develop their websites and social media. Thus, our goal in the project is to establish a permanent and sustainable business for women with permanent solutions. - On the training to be established with women, 5 sessions of mentoring will be given to the two directors of the project by ICF Turkey. Thus, it will contribute to the motivation of the two members of the JCI İzmir branch together with the entrepreneurial women. - The Digital Women at Work project was born in order to support women's initiatives and ensure that women have an equal impact with men in decision-making mechanisms in business life. In this process, not only the participants but also the management and Coc team who prepared the program gain leadership and communication experiences. The aim of the Digital Women at Work Project is to increase the knowledge and skills of women aged 18-55 who have a commercial product, who are or want to be entrepreneurs, by providing various trainings. It is aimed to increase the rate of women entrepreneurs in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey.

Purpose

- The biggest contribution of the project is to support women who have their own economic power, thus providing an economic contribution to the city of Izmir.
- Gaining economic freedom to our women today, where gender inequality is increasing.
- To contribute to the existence of women in digital environments in this period of the Republic.
- It will open new doors for women entrepreneurs who have lost their motivation in the current economic crisis by supporting their projects with new digital tools.
- JCI İzmir members will carry out sponsorship activities in order to raise funds for the project. All income from the sponsors will be spent on the needs of the project and JCI İzmir. Thus, additional income will be obtained for the branch.

Overview

- The expected impact under the project is aimed at strengthening local communities. In this context, it is a community empowerment workshop that includes e-commerce, which is the most important developing sector today, by reinforcing the seeds of women leaders with strong leaders, learning digital entrepreneurship skills under the mentorship program.
- In addition, it is planned to cooperate with different groups within the scope of the project. And it is aimed to create economic effects in the ideas and actions of people within these groups. The training given to women should not be seen as a mere training. The company, which was founded even for one person, and the social media opened to even one person, will have stepped into the business life of women with this project. Companies opened today will become institutions that export and contribute to the economy of Izmir and Turkey tomorrow.
