Since first becoming an officially endorsed JCI program at the 1987 JCI World Congress in Amsterdam, over 3,000 Global Networkers have graduated from the JCI Academy, which has now been held 29 times.
Each year, the JCI Academy aims to achieve the four following goals:
Deepen mutual understanding among participants from National Organizations around the world, as well as members of JCI Japan, coming from all over Japan.
Offer training opportunities for the global leaders of tomorrow.
Make JCI an even better organization and contribute to its overall development.
Contribute to the realization of the establishment of everlasting World Peace.
The 2017 JCI Academy in Kumamoto will enable the participants, the future leaders of JCI and the community, to deepen mutual understanding among one another. At the same time, it will provide an opportunity for participating members from JCI Japan to establish a connection with overseas delegates, so that the Japanese delegates can be even more involved at the international level in the future.
The 2017 JCI Academy will serve as a training ground for the development of more Global Networkers, by providing outstanding leadership training and opening the way for them to become the driving force to achieve everlasting World Peace.
