JCI and Dale Carnegie Partner for Leadership at the 2018 JCI World Congress in Goa, India

12 July 2018, St. Louis, USA – In partnership with Dale Carnegie, JCI (Junior Chamber International) will be offering four 90-minute Action Oriented Leadership sessions to attendees of the 2018 JCI World Congress in Goa, India. The 2018 JCI World Congress will bring together over 3,000 active citizens from around the globe who are leading the advancement of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development in their local communities. As JCI’s mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change, “action-oriented leadership” as an area of development that would greatly benefit the attendees of this event. 

The four topics of the collaborative sessions will focus on how to connect with others, how to gain willing cooperation, how to influence change in your world and how to communicate to lead. Session one will explore how one can establish respectful and understanding professional relationships when you apply the nine Dale Carnegie principles. The second session is devoted to taking individual action that encourages and promotes successful cooperation. Session three will examine participants’ abilities to realize change by influencing other people’s behaviors and attitudes. Lastly, session four will discuss the art of persuasive communication and how this can be a significant factor in expanding leadership abilities. 

These sessions will help attendees persuade their audiences to take action, successfully realize change by influencing behaviors and attitudes and how to take individual action at the local level to create a better world.
