To recognise and celebrate the achievements of Manchester's Young Professionals

The Manchester Young Talent awards invite organisations and individuals to nominate themselves or their employees as the young professional of the year in their sector e.g. legal professional of the year. These nominations are then judged by an impartial panel of Manchester business people and a shortlisted is created. From the shortlist a winner is decided and the award is presented at a black tie awards ceremony at a Manchester City Centre location.

Member Development: The organisation of the event is an ideal opportunity for members to develop both in project and team management skills and to gain specific skills such as budgeting, event organisation and event promotion and sales. This year the M.Y.T.A. committee contained 3 members, one designated as project lead and the other 2 in support with specific tasks.

Event Success: This year we had a staggering 71 nominations across 12 categories. The Judging process, which took place on the 9th October, created a shortlist of 40 individuals and businesses. We expect their to be around 300 people in attendance at this years awards ceremony. We expect to raise around £2000 for charity on the night through our raffle.
