From Stars to Strategy: A Month of Deep Connection Across Asia-Pacific

March marked another remarkable chapter in President Keisuke’s global leadership journey. From Taiwan to Mongolia, Korea to Vietnam, he engaged with leaders and members, embraced diverse cultures, and paved the way for unity within the JCI movement. The journey was filled with inspiration, reflection, and unforgettable moments that bridged continents, generations, and hearts.

Leadership with Warmth – President Keisuke’s Visit to Taiwan

President Keisuke’s March journey began in Taiwan — a dynamic start to a month of global engagement. He was warmly welcomed by past National Presidents of JCI Taiwan, whose passionate words of encouragement set an inspiring tone. Traveling to Tainan and Taichung, he spoke at LOMs event and programs, where the energy and dedication of local members left a deep impression.

In Taipei, President Keisuke met with government officials to discuss potential collaboration in the lead-up to JCI’s 110th anniversary. He also visited a youth debate competition, engaging directly with future leaders whose vision and courage shone through each exchange. The visit concluded with a meeting with the Mayor of Taipei, where shared values and possibilities for international cooperation came to light. Over four impactful days, the Taiwan visit became a powerful reminder: true leadership is rooted in listening, sharing, and boldly walking alongside others.

Stars, Strategy, and Solidarity: A Transformative Experience in Mongolia

In the breathtaking landscapes of Terelj, Mongolia, President Keisuke participated in the National Presidential Academy. He delivered a keynote speech and engaged in strategic Joint Board Meetings with JCI Mongolia Board, LOM Presidents, and the 2025 JCI ASPAC COC.

During his stay, he also enjoyed a thrilling dog sledding experience organized by JCI Mongolia, with around ten energetic dogs pulling the sled through the snow. The ride felt like a natural roller coaster—an exciting and unforgettable moment of pure joy.

The evenings were filled with warmth and celebration—from the Welcome Night to the grand Gala Dinner and afterparty, laughter echoed among friends and future collaborators. Yet, what lingered most deeply was the silence beneath Mongolia’s star-filled sky—a moment of reflection, clarity, and inspiration for the future of global leadership.

Legacy, Wellness, and Remembrance: A Profound Visit to Korea

In Seoul, President Keisuke was greeted with a grand reception at Incheon Airport and warmly welcomed by JCI Korea members. He shared a traditional Korean feast with National President Moon Kwan Baek and held fruitful discussions on the structure and future direction of the JCI Korea movement.

A deeply emotional moment came when President Keisuke visited the grave of a close friend with whom he had shared memorable times during APDC—paying tribute to a bond rooted in shared purpose and enduring friendship.

He later attended the 73rd Anniversary of JCI Korea and the 71st Anniversary of JCI Seoul, delivering heartfelt messages and strengthening sister chapter ties. It was a journey of reconnection, cultural depth, and remembrance.

In between his official duties, President Keisuke reunited with long-time friends from JCI Korea. Together, they enjoyed delicious Korean cuisine and experienced a traditional Ssukgama (charcoal kiln sauna)—a unique wellness tradition offering a glimpse into the origins of Korean sauna culture.

From Depth to Celebration: ASPAC Leadership in Da Nang

In Da Nang, Vietnam, President Keisuke took part in JCI ASPAC Senate Golf, contributing to key sessions such as the NOM Presidents’ Meeting, APDC, the ASPAC Senate Board Meeting, and the IA Academy hosted by JCI Philippines. He also joined an international golf competition, ASPAC Senate Golf, with senators and members from around the world—fostering camaraderie and meaningful dialogue through friendly competition on the course.

Outside of formal duties, the spirit of camaraderie flourished. He recorded “JCI Talk Episode 8” with EVP Mark, enjoyed sightseeing at Linh Ung Pagoda with JCI Singapore President Akira, and shared dinners and laughter with leaders from across the region.

During a break between official duties, he joined EVP Mark, VPs, international members, and JCI Vietnam local members for a scuba diving session in the beautiful coastal waters of Da Nang. As a certified diver, President Keisuke supported first-time participants with care, creating a relaxed, joyful, and truly memorable bonding experience.

The journey concluded with the Farewell & Award Night, celebrating connection, gratitude, and the road ahead—toward ASPAC Mongolia and beyond.

Leadership Without Borders: A Journey of Meaning and Momentum

From diplomatic exchanges in Taiwan to strategic vision in Mongolia, emotional remembrance in Korea to joyful unity in Vietnam, President Keisuke’s March journey was one of connection, compassion, and clarity.

It was a living testament to JCI’s mission—to empower young leaders, foster positive changes, and call on actions to implement initiatives through grassroots interactions with members.

And yet, this is just the beginning.  What friendships will be formed next? What challenges lie ahead?

Stay tuned—because this journey is far from over.
