JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 at the International Congress
The JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 took center stage at the AIESEC International Congress 2025, held in Sri Lanka. This global gathering brought together hundreds of youth leaders, changemakers, and partners from across the world to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and drive forward a shared mission: empowering young people to shape a more inclusive, sustainable, and impactful future.
As part of this important event, JCI proudly participated by contributing to key discussions and interactive sessions that highlighted the role of young people in building a better world of work. The renewal of the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 further emphasized the significance of collaboration in advancing youth leadership and sustainable development worldwide.

Shaping the Future of Work: A Panel on Youth Empowerment
One of the highlights of the AIESEC International Congress was a high-level panel discussion titled: “How youth can build a more inclusive, sustainable, and empowered world of work.”
This discussion, which was part of the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025, explored cross-cutting themes of sustainability, leadership, diversity, and employability. The panel included representatives from leading organizations such as:
-
Electrolux Food Foundation
-
UNIDO
-
TCS
-
UN Foundation
JCI’s participation in this panel showcased how youth-led innovation and sustainable leadership can drive systemic change. The JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 reinforces the idea that when global partnerships and networks are aligned with a shared purpose, they become powerful levers for impact.
Workshop: Becoming a Sustainable Leader in Action
Another meaningful contribution of JCI during the AIESEC International Congress was an interactive workshop titled “Becoming a Sustainable Leader in Action.”
This session, conducted as part of the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025, guided participants through an engaging journey of reflection and skill-building. Attendees explored key leadership mindsets while gaining practical tools for creating long-term impact in their communities and careers.
The workshop emphasized resilience, intentional leadership, and sustainability, giving youth a deeper understanding of what it means to lead with purpose in today’s evolving world.
A Milestone in Collaboration: Renewing the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025
One of the most important milestones of the Congress was the official renewal of the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 for another five years. This renewed commitment highlights the shared vision of both organizations to foster youth leadership, promote global cooperation, and advance sustainable development.
“We’re excited to continue building with AIESEC — not only as a partner but as a fellow movement empowering youth to act as global changemakers,” said Nathalia Cardenas, JCI Partnerships Manager.
Special recognition was also given to Kenneth Gamboa and Paulina Ávila from AIESEC for their leadership in making this collaboration possible and for their dedication to the belief that partnerships are essential to driving meaningful impact.
Looking Ahead: The Future of JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025
The AIESEC International Congress in Sri Lanka reminded all participants that the creativity, energy, and commitment of youth are not only vital for the future but are actively shaping change in the present.
Through the JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025, both organizations are doubling down on their mission to empower youth to take on leadership roles, create cross-sector collaboration, and amplify their voices on the global stage.
As JCI looks ahead, the partnership with AIESEC will continue to serve as a cornerstone of its efforts to invest in the leaders of tomorrow, today. This renewed collaboration demonstrates that when organizations unite around a shared purpose, they can mobilize youth to address global challenges and create sustainable solutions that benefit communities everywhere.
The JCI and AIESEC Partnership 2025 is more than just a renewed agreement. It is a bold step forward in building a stronger, more interconnected, and more resilient generation of changemakers worldwide.
