The Ten Outstanding Persons of the Youth (TOPY) honors young individuals who exemplify leadership, innovation, and social impact. Through a nomination process, public recognition, and community engagement, TOPY highlights youth-led solutions that foster resilience and sustainable growth. It strengthens JCI’s role in nation-building while inspiring others to lead, serve, and contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond.

The Innovative Entrepreneur 2024 (IE2024) by JCI City empowered 70+ local businesses through awards, networking, and media visibility. Backed by partners like PwC and ViuTV, it created economic impact and a USD12,600 surplus, now reinvested in outreach and mentorship. IE2024 advanced JCI’s mission by promoting innovation, ethical entrepreneurship, and brand credibility across sectors in Hong Kong and beyond.

Leadership Horizon: Elevating Purpose-Driven Youths For A Better Nation

JCI Manila, JCI PHILIPPINES

The University of Leaders Orientation (ULO) is JCI Manila’s flagship program to recruit and develop purpose-driven leaders. Through interviews, team challenges, mentorship, and community work, ULO builds confidence, connection, and commitment. With a 77% conversion rate, it fuels growth, strengthens internal bonds, and showcases JCI’s impact through powerful storytelling and sustained leadership development.

The “Lead to Growth” project elevated JCI Queensway’s visibility through media, partnerships, and community outreach, leading to a 135% membership increase. With 54 active members, it attracted young leaders, boosted sponsor engagement, and gained government media coverage. Focused on leadership development and retention, the initiative lays the groundwork for sustained impact through mentorship and strategic growth planning.

Project E.A.S.E. Year Two – (Expanding Access, Strengthening Education)

JCI Dagupeñas, JCI PHILIPPINES

Project E.A.S.E. Year Two (Expanding Access, Strengthening Education) ignited a love for reading by providing books, sparking imagination, and tracking literacy outcomes. Focused on access and engagement, it empowered children across communities. More than a book drive, it opened new chapters in education, partnerships, and sustainable learning, perfectly aligned with JCI’s mission to create lasting positive change.

KidStart, led by JCI Kinta, empowers children aged 6–12 with skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and mental health. Through partnerships with schools, NGOs, corporations, and local government, the project blends workshops, training, and a youth-led flea market. Engaging 60+ stakeholders, KidStart fosters leadership, empathy, and community-driven impact through strong multi-sector collaboration and advocacy for children's well-being.

AED Save A Life is JCI Victoria’s flagship health initiative aimed at improving emergency response in Hong Kong. In partnership with the Fire Services Department, it trained over 630 individuals—including youth leaders and SMEs—in AED and CPR. With strong media coverage and 30+ partner organizations, it reached over 1 million people. By promoting AED access and civic readiness, the project empowers communities and embodies JCI’s mission of creating lasting positive impact.

The Tokyo Agri Future Project by JCI Tokyo tackled food self-sufficiency by connecting urban consumers with rural producers through farm visits and a city festival. Led by 42 members, it inspired ethical food choices, fostered partnerships, and aligned with SDG 12—achieving social impact, financial sustainability, and reinvestment in future food education.

JCI Surigao Wensie and the Baby Jaycees launched Healing Touch for Elderly Care to support seniors in Cantiasay, an island off Surigao City. Through a medical mission, senior registration, and a welfare talk, 95 beneficiaries received free care. Funded by a Mother’s Day fundraiser and community partners, the project brought vital services to an underserved area.

Development of Next Generation Leaders: Youth for Noto Earthquake Recovery

JCI Nagoya, JCI JAPAN

Forty-six high school students from all 47 Bloc Councils in Japan visited disaster-hit Ishikawa Prefecture to co-create recovery plans with local youth. Through site visits, discussions, and a symbolic fireworks event, they gained leadership experience and built a national student network—empowering local communities and inspiring hope for long-term recovery and resilience.

JCI Mongolia empowers future leaders through debate and public speaking. Participants train in communication and critical thinking, guided by mentors and national leaders. Advancing to national and international stages, they gain confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills—turning ideas into action. Top performers represent Mongolia globally, growing into changemakers who inspire impact at home and beyond.

In its first year, newly chartered JCI Estrellas de Zamboanga delivered 10 trainings and 4 RISE-aligned projects with 100% member engagement. By empowering youth, fostering entrepreneurship, and forming strong partnerships, they amplified impact and visibility. With seven international twinning activities, the chapter quickly became a globally connected changemaker, proving that new chapters can lead with purpose and innovation.

JCI Central, a standout chapter under JCI Mongolia, achieved 14% membership growth and a $100,000 surplus in 2024. With 38 trainings and 175 events, it drove leadership development, cross-sector engagement, and economic growth through initiatives like “Business Made Social.” Aligned with JCI’s goals, JCI Central empowers young leaders and drives sustainable impact across Mongolia and beyond.

Wendy Phuang of JCI Malaysia has become a driving force for positive change since joining in 2023. With 3,000+ volunteer hours and participation in 187 events across 13 countries, she exemplifies global engagement and local impact. As a trainer and JCI RISE advocate, she empowers youth and led JCI Bandar Kajang to its first 5-Star LO recognition.

Zafir Shafiee Chowdhury of JCI Bangladesh is a visionary leader driving impact across all levels. As National Secretary General, he introduced AI-powered tools to transform member engagement. A JCI World Debate Champion, he elevated Bangladesh on the global stage. From reforesting Cox’s Bazar to championing women’s health, Zafir leads with innovation, service, and a passion for sustainable change.

In 2024, Samadi Batbold transformed JCI Progress through visionary leadership, driving record membership growth and bold visibility. He launched innovative programs like “Orchestrate Tomorrow” and championed inclusion and efficiency. With 200+ training hours and $48,000 in personal contributions, his impact extended globally. Samadi’s values-based leadership made JCI Progress a standout chapter in Mongolia and across JCI worldwide.

Terms and Conditions

JCI Global Youth Summit 2026

By completing your registration for the JCI Global Youth Summit 2026 (“the Summit”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

Code of Conduct Compliance

Participants are expected to comply with the JCI Event Code of Conduct and Harassment Policy at all times and contribute to a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants, speakers, organizers, and collaborating institutions.

Personal Data and Media Consent

Participants consent to the collection, processing, and use of personal information for Summit-related administrative and operational purposes, including registration, communications, logistical coordination, participant management, and post-event follow-up.

Participants also grant JCI permission to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, or other media captured during the Summit for educational, informational, archival, communications, and reporting purposes related to the activities and mission of JCI and the Summit.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Participation and Access

Participation in certain Summit sessions or activities may be subject to security procedures, identification requirements, venue regulations, and capacity limitations.

Participants are expected to comply with all venue access and security requirements communicated by the organizers.

Visa Policy

Participants requiring a visa to attend the Summit are solely responsible for initiating and managing their visa application process in a timely manner and for complying with all applicable immigration requirements.

JCI World Headquarters may provide an official invitation letter upon request for participants who have completed the registration requirements and applicable participation process.

Invitation letters are issued solely to support visa applications and do not guarantee visa approval.

Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, accommodation, insurance, transportation, and personal expenses unless otherwise expressly stated by the organizers.

Health and Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel and health insurance coverage for the duration of their participation in the Summit.

JCI shall not be responsible for medical expenses, travel disruptions, or personal losses incurred during participation in the Summit.

Behavioral Expectations

Participants are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the Summit.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, disruptive conduct, or behavior inconsistent with the JCI Code of Conduct may result in removal from participation and potential restriction from future JCI activities.

Complaint and Incident Reporting

Participants acknowledge awareness of the procedures available for reporting incidents, concerns, or violations of the JCI Code of Conduct and Harassment Policy.

All reports will be handled with appropriate confidentiality and seriousness.

Third-Party Services and Venues

Certain Summit activities may take place at external venues or involve services provided by third parties, including transportation, accommodation providers, or event facilities.

Such services remain subject to the operational policies and responsibility of the respective third-party providers.

Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that participation in an international event may involve certain inherent risks, including travel disruptions, health-related risks, accidents, security measures, or changes in governmental regulations or entry requirements.

By participating in the Summit, participants voluntarily assume such risks associated with travel and attendance.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, JCI and collaborating organizations shall not be responsible for personal injury, illness, delay, loss, theft, damage, or other unforeseen circumstances arising from participation in or travel related to the Summit, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Force Majeure

JCI reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Summit due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, labor disruptions, security incidents, or other force majeure events.
